The first woman to represent the State of New Jersey in the Miss America and Miss USA Pageants, this former Miss New Jersey is a Jersey Girl through and through. Amy grew up in Ocean City, attended Ocean City High School and Rutgers University. A former Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader, Amy is also a former Entertainment Director for the USO, and the founder of the Star Spangled Girls Performing Troup, who entertained our armed forces at military bases around the world as a part of Armed Forces Entertainment, under the US Department of Defense. She has enjoyed a diverse career, serving as Communications Director for a NJ State Senator, Director of Special Events at the NJ Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and Finance Director for political campaigns and organizations. From 2001-2015, Amy ran her own Cherry Hill based consulting firm, Capitol Concepts, during which time she served as a Delegate to Turkey with the American Council of Young Political Leaders, and on President George W. Bush’s “Hire Veterans First” Committee, the Selective Service Board, the Hudson Union Society, the NJ Republican State Committee, and authored an article for the New Jersey Conference of Mayors Magazine, entitled “Hot Topics, Cool Mayors.” Amy is a life-long advocate for the welfare and humane treatment of animals and in 2014 founded Pints 4 Pets, an annual beer tasting fundraiser that raises much needed funds for a South Jersey animal rescue. Amy is a Private Banker and Vice President at Republic Bank in Philadelphia and South Jersey. She is the proud parent of two incredible horses, and resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
