Anthony M. Agliata
Anthony M. Agliata is the Planning Director for the Ocean County Planning Board. He is responsible for an office that administers a broad range of planning programs, including environmental planning, economic development, open space preservation, and the management of the Ocean County Airport.
Prior to joining the County Planning Board, Mr. Agliata was employed by several land planning and engineering firms located in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Agliata also served as an adjunct instructor with Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
Mr. Agliata earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Monmouth University. Mr. Agliata is a Licensed Professional Planner and Licensed Landscape Architect in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Agliata served as President of the New Jersey Community Development Association from 2006-2014. Mr. Agliata also served on the National Association of County Community and Economic Development Association (NACCED) Board of Directors from 2009-2013 and as NACCED’s only two time President from 2013-2015.
