Jim began his career in Economic Development with the New Jersey Main Street Program in 1997 as a full-time director. He then continued for 10 years as a board member for the local Main Street program and was appointed to the New Jersey Main Street Advisory Board. In 2000, Jim began his work in County government in bond financing and as Director of Business Development and Tourism. He has been a member on more than a dozen non-profit boards whose focus span from community development, to the arts, to economic development as well as faith based organizations. Jim joined the Cumberland County Improvement Authority in 2013 as their Director of Economic Development and Construction. Within the last three years he has been managing over $130 million in public construction projects and is responsible for retaining, expanding and recruiting companies to the County. He has called East Greenwich Township his home since 1997 with his wife Wendy where he enjoys his five children, three grandkids and two dogs.
