Comcast recently added more than 170 outdoor Wi-Fi hotspots in the Cherry Hill region.
The company said the new Xfinity hotspots, added in or near parks, shopping centers, dining areas, government offices and other areas, brings the number of hotspots available to customers to more than 750.
“As we continue to invest in our Wi-Fi network, we are bringing residents in and around the Cherry Hill region new levels of connectivity and convenience,” said Jim Samaha, senior vice president of Comcast’s Freedom Region, which serves Greater Philadelphia, New Jersey and northern Delaware.
Comcast has thousands of Xfinity hotspots around the Philadelphia region. Customers who sign into a Xfinity hotspot will automatically connect to other available Xfinity hotspots.
