While Lidl officials haven’t announced opening dates for its first New Jersey grocery stores, work is well underway on the Landis Avenue location.
Lidl is developing stores in at least six New Jersey counties, including Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester and Monmouth.
It has announced job openings for store supervisor and store associate in Vineland.
The company typically hires 50 to 60 employees at each of its locations.
Crews were hard at work Tuesday morning at the Vineland location, where much of the major construction appears complete. The store sits directly across Landis Avenue from a Walmart Supercenter, which includes a grocery store, deli and bakery.
