Make the most of the cooler summer evenings while skipping a stint in the kitchen.
Cherry Hill’s Al Fresco Affair offers a chance to dine out with friends and neighbors at Croft Farm, where food trucks will do all the cooking.
Fund organizers are working with the Community Foundation of South Jersey and Creative New Jersey. The foundation would manage and house the fund.
An evening under the stars and twinkling lights is set for Thursday, Aug. 31, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Trucks and other food vendors lined up to participate include Phyllodelphia, Oink and Moo BBQ, Dump N Roll, My Four Suns, Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Cupcake Carnivale, Kona Shaved Ice, and What the Fork. In addition, Cherry Hill’s Farm & Fisherman Tavern + Market will serve local craft beers and spirits in the beer garden, as well as offering food options. The Model T Jazz Band will provide the tunes. Lawn games will be offered, and guests are asked to bring chairs and blankets.
