Kennedy Health, a South Jersey-based health system, donated $10,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ (RMHC) “Change the Luck of a Child” Telethon.
The all-day telethon, which aired live on CBS3 TV March 28, is aimed at helping RMHC further its mission to support children throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
This year’s event surpassed the 2016 telethon, raising more than $1.2 million, for a total of $7.4 million since 2010. Kennedy Health has a Ronald McDonald Pediatric Unit at its Washington Township hospital, as well as a Ronald McDonald Family Room in its Emergency Department there.
