South Jersey’s Kennedy Health is no more.
Amid a buzzing crowd of employees and dignitaries gathered in the hospital’s soaring new atrium lobby, Kennedy’s former CEO Joseph W. Devine announced new names for the three hospitals, after merging weeks ago with Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health.
Kennedy Health hospitals will now be known as Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, Jefferson Stratford Hospital and Jefferson Washington Township Hospital.
“We’re a strong entity to begin with,” a Mount Laurel resident said. “Our reputation is good and now I think it will be even better with Jefferson. And they’ll be better with us.”
