The Creative Enterprise Center (CEC) in Millville is now open for business. Any business. The center is the first co-working space in the county and area. It’s a mixed-use facility with affordable space for entrepreneurs, artists, and others in a professional, collaborative, and relaxed environment.
With several rental and membership opportunities, the CEC, at 14 East Mulberry Street, provides a chance to launch or grow a small enterprise without the high initial overhead and gives artists studio space outside their homes. There are small, private offices and an array of cubicle workspaces with desks.
There’s also a lot of informal counter and table seating with complimentary refreshments. (Think Starbucks, except everybody’s working or talking about how they can improve each other’s work.) There’s also a two-bedroom residential apartment in the complex.
The members get more than just space for pursuing their passions and accelerating their businesses. The center offers business amenities like Wi-Fi, shared office equipment, business services, and a conference center with a whiteboard and sound system for seminars and entertaining clients.
