The SNJDC hosts a variety of annual events. These meetings of business professionals and political leaders give SNJDC members the opportunity to make useful business contacts and learn the pressing issues facing the South Jersey region today.
Sound Off for South Jersey
One of the largest legislative policy conferences in the state. Sound Off features panels of federal, state, and local officials and routinely draws over 300 attendees. The conference addresses upcoming issues vital to the current Legislative session. Special tapings at the event are done by NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network.
Golf Outing
Annual 18-hole Golf Outing that includes brunch and an awards ceremony. An excellent opportunity to mix business with a round of golf on an exceptional golf course.
Construction Forecast
SNJDC’s annual exhibit that focuses on upcoming construction projects in the southern eight-county region of New Jersey. This event unveils upcoming jobs/contracts that have not yet been put out for bid and a panel of State agency experts and business representatives for questions & answers.
Day on the Delaware
The SNJDC’s Annual Economic Development Waterfront Tour of the Delaware River offers attendees an ideal opportunity for a narrated update of current and projected projects along the Camden/Philadelphia waterfronts and is one of the largest networking opportunities for both members and non-members.
Awards Reception
An annual reception held to honor individuals and companies who have made a contribution to the economic development and growth of the region as well as to the success of the SNJDC.
Holiday Luncheon
This year-end event serves as a holiday celebration that offers an excellent networking opportunity between SNJDC members and nonmembers. Guests include Legislators, Congressmen, Senators, and Assemblymen. This event follows the SNJDC year-end Board of Trustees Meeting.
Public Policy Speaker Series
Provides an opportunity to hear the views and plans from New Jersey’s Congressional and Legislative Delegation as well as key state policy makers. SNJDC offers you an excellent opportunity to meet with business associates and elected officials and to showcase your business/organization.
