$8 million in improvements coming to Camden County Black Horse Pike

One Camden County highway will be getting a makeover, courtesy of an $8 million grant from the federal government.

Route 168, which follows the Black Horse Pike, runs through suburban sections of the county. Now, it is one of 28 projects that will be funded by the Infrastructure for Rebuilding America federal grant program. The Federal Department of Transportation received 190 applications requesting $24.8 billion in INFRA funding this round.

Among other changes, it will pay to reconstruct and resurface a roughly two-mile stretch of highway from Woodlynne to near the Mount Ephraim border.
