As Market President in Southern and Coastal New Jersey for TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, Gregory Carlisle leads the local Commercial and Small Business banking teams and customer portfolios throughout Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Cape May, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Camden, and Burlington counties while partnering with TD’s specialty business lending and consumer teams to expand client relationships in the market. Carlisle also oversees direct local TD sponsorship and community foundation giving throughout that footprint.
Gregory is a 22-year veteran of the local Pennsylvania / New Jersey banking community. He joined TD Bank in 2014 as Regional Vice President of Gloucester/Cumberland/Salem counties, where he led his team to increase market shares in each county. In 2019, he won the coveted CEO WOW Award at TD Bank for Commercial Banking and in 2021 he and his team led TD SBA in total loan dollars funded.
Prior to joining TD, Carlisle built and managed commercial teams at financial institutions in the Mid-Atlantic including HSBC Bank, Washington Mutual/JP Morgan Chase, and Wachovia Bank (Wells Fargo). His commercial banking experience includes roles in retail and residential mortgage banking, relationship management, underwriting and risk, small business, commercial mortgage, commercial & industrial lending, and global trade finance. During his time in his leadership roles Gregory has led multiple banking teams covering the PA, NJ, DE, Northern VA, Washington D.C., and Maryland markets.
Gregory has been involved with several charity and nonprofit organizations throughout his career. He has held board positions with the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, Gloucester County Community College at Rowan, Gloucester County YMCA where he served as their Chief Volunteer Officer, and he currently sits on the Board of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce where he is active on the board and their Finance Committee.
Gregory grew up in Philadelphia and completed his education at Temple University in the Secondary Education Teaching Certification Program. Gregory and his wife reside in Montgomery County PA and have been together for 25 years where the raised their two children. In his spare time Gregory is a pitcher and catcher coach for the Whitemarsh Patriots (PA) Senior American Legion baseball program. Gregory has been a baseball coach for the past 17 years where he has taken teams to multiple tournaments up and down the east coast. In the summers of 2016 and 2021, Gregory helped coach the Whitemarsh Patriots Junior American Legion and Senior American Legion teams to their respective district championship title victories.
