A mixed-use development, comprised of retail space and residential homes, is planned for the Paulsboro Plaza area. Most of the storefronts at Paulsboro Plaza, the biggest retail space in town, have remained empty for years, while a handful of businesses have struggled to survive. But now, the borough, along with Lindsay Ore Development, is planning to breathe new life into the mostly-dark space.
For nearly three years, the development group has been planning to tear down the existing structures at the location and build a four-phase development that promises to bring 60 temporary construction jobs, 200 permanent jobs and 120 residential units to the area.
