Raising Cane’s is cleared now to open a restaurant here, but that approval required gifting the borough a significant portion of its property for potential road improvements.
The easement illustrates how serious Glassboro is taking increasing traffic along North Delsea Drive (Route 47) tied to continuing growth by Rowan University.
The easement is 10 feet wide, running the entire property frontage on Donald Barger Boulevard. Raising Cane’s was approved Monday night to build on the southwest corner of the boulevard and North Delsea Drive, now occupied by a closed Rite Aid pharmacy.
