Tommy’s Tavern + Tap replaces Houlihan’s to open its 9th N.J. restaurant

Tommy’s Tap + Tavern is expanding with another New Jersey opening. The growing restaurant and bar chain will open its next location in Cherry Hill on Wednesday, March 27 at 4 p.m.

Tommy’s is replacing a shuttered Houlihan’s at 2050 Route 70 inside the Market Place at Garden State Park shopping complex.

Houlihan’s abruptly closed the location in 2023. Tommy’s joins brands like Wegmans, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Home Depot, Best Buy, Five Guys, Panera Bread and a recently opened Raising Cane’s in the Camden County shopping center.

This will be Tommy’s ninth New Jersey location and its 11th in total. The company also operates spots in New York and Delaware.
