Forgotten Boardwalk Brewery coming to Cherry Hill

Jamie Queli started out as a beer enthusiast and then moved on to becoming a homebrew hobbyist. Soon, she’ll be able to add brewery owner to her resume. The 29-year-old Morristown resident is the founder of Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing, which will soon be taking over the former Flying Fish Brewery building left vacant in Cherry Hill.

Having grown up at the Jersey Shore, Queli said she’s hoping to instill some of the memories of her time there into the brand -by even including some arcade games like skee ball in the tasting room. But the focus, of course, will be on the beer. She hopes to be up and running by April 2014, offering five different ales for distribution, brewing 4,500 barrels a year. Eventually, she plans to can the beer.
