Adventure Aquarium wants you to help name its newest bundle of joy – a blue baby penguin born a little less than a month ago at the Camden attraction.
The baby’s parents, Maremma and Bloke, welcomed the hatchling on Feb. 25, just 10 days after another mother penguin gave birth to another chick announced Wednesday by its new name of Tater Tot, according to a release from the aquarium. The hatchlings are cousins, but now the aquarium has asked for the public’s help in naming this newborn.
Now through noon on March 30 , penguin lovers can vote here to pick the name Taz, Irwin Heath or Ralph for the male baby blue penguin. Both chicks were expected to rejoin the colony of penguins on exhibit in about a month and a half, aquarium officials said.
