Camden County offers COVID-19 relief funds for nonprofits

Nonprofit organizations in Camden County can apply for as much as $500,000 in federal grants to support COVID-19 relief in their communities.

County officials on Tuesday announced that, as part of the COVID-19 Community Recovery Grant Program, funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act, is part of a total of $33 million county officials have allocated to benefit pandemic relief; the funds are also being used for rental assistance and small business grants.

The grants announced Tuesday are meant for nonprofits that work with vulnerable and needy populations, those that provide pandemic-focused health care and safety services, and strengthen travel, tourism and hospitality industries within Camden County.
