Jack & Jill gets development plan approval in Logan, exiting Moorestown HQ

Corporate headquarters for the iconic ice cream company Jack & Jill D.S.D. is headed for a to-be-built warehouse and office facility off Route 130 and Center Square Road here, under a proposal the Logan Township Planning Board just approved.

The facility, which the company acquired in 2019, will use about 14.6 acres of a nearly 72-acre tract. The tract falls into both the Pureland industrial zone and a light industry zone.

The site plan also calls for 271 parking spaces, 72 tractor-trailer parking spaces, and 23 loading berths. The facility also will have a refrigerated cooler and a roughly 60,000-square-foot freezer.

A key piece to the project is agreement from New Jersey American Water Company to extend water and sewerage utilities. Ten properties were assembled to create the site, by far the biggest being 62.5 acres of farmland off Route 130.
