Following the “extraordinary” economic impacts of the coronavirus, Rowan University will drop tuition and fees 10% for the 2020-2021 school year.
The university’s announcement follows a vote of the Board of Trustees on Friday, according to President Ali Houshmand, who described the decision as “the right thing to do.”
Rowan’s tuition reduction will lower in-state costs by $1,438, bringing total tuition and fees to $12,938, according to the university.
Out-of-state undergraduate students will see their tuition reduced from $23,408 to $21,970, Rowan officials said Friday.
